I recommend these shorts for sleeping. I'm pretty picky about sleep shorts because the cuter they seem, the shorter the crotch they seem. Nothing nice or convenient about turning around in the middle of the night and pulling them out because they blow up. These shorts are the perfect length and are very soft. I'm 5ft 2in and 155lbs (heavy butt). I bought the XL to avoid the buoyancy factor and they are perfect. They're a bit big for me, but not big enough to tip over. I could easily wear a large, but I was looking for width.
