Amazing Pin Vise on Pin Vise

I've been building model cars for over 50 years and have always needed a good vise to drill holes. All my previous pin vises required changing collets for different sized bits and the latter didn't tighten many bits. It has a large chuck that fits almost any size drill bit up to about 1/4 inch, so I never have to change collets. It's easy to charge, easy to rotate, and the rubber body makes it really easy to grip. The bits that come with the drill aren't just a one-time giveaway. They are better quality and sharper than the ones I bought at a much higher price. To keep the drill bits sorted I used the sponge rubber pad that came with the drill bit (see photo). I made a few dots on it with a silver marker, and then made a cut down the center of each spot with an Xacto #10 knife. Bits are inserted into slots and held there until needed, making it easy to find the right bit size.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
