Review on Intel Network AX200 NGWG NV AX2002230 Retail by Craig Pham

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works only for computers and accessories

I have two of these cards on two different systems. The systems are (so-called refurbished - not really) HP Prodesk 600 G3 desktops. Installation was pretty easy as this platform has optional M.2 Wi-Fi. .In one case, Windows 10 Pro automatically recognized the appropriate driver and installed it immediately, in the other not. Easily solved by manually downloading and installing the driver from Intel website. It may have been the version of the Windows 10 base images on each system. The performance of these network cards and the included antennas seems to be pretty decent. AX speeds are welcome. I was also able to connect these cards to 5GHz to minimize contention and bandwidth issues with other devices. Overall very happy with the choice. I see clones of these cards. I almost bought it but decided to stick with the Intel branded version as I already had one that worked well. Also, the real card was actually cheaper. I have no idea which clone is better, nor do I care since the original cards work well. Ease of installation depends on the platform the NIC runs on, as well as convenience and ease of use. Just go slow, plan and try not to damage anything as the different parts can be quite fragile. Lay the coaxial cables so that they are not pinched. The MH4 connectors are already installed on the network adapter. Suggest gently taping or caulking the NIC connectors with non-conductive tape or sealant to secure them in place.
