I plugged one into my bedroom and started charging my phone. I used an Anker braided USB-C charging cable that I used to use and still use. This connector started rattling which caused the phone to stop charging and recharge every time it happened. After this happened a second or third time I went to inspect the fork and it was too hot to touch. Both the cube and the USB end of the cable felt very hot. If I leave it on overnight I'm sure it could start a fire. I've tested several others in a six pack and they all get too hot for me to consider safely plugging in. I threw them all away and will never buy from this company again, a cheap charger is not worth my house burning down.
