Since almost all my devices are Breville and I like their quality I wanted to buy a Breville BDC650BSS which sells for $300 which is a high one Price is , but I didn't mind paying for quality. What put me off buying it were the negative reviews that you have to clean the grinder about once a week. I wouldn't pay that much money for this inconvenience. Featured under the featured banner, this GEVI coffee maker had good ratings and reviews and was less than half the price of the Breville I was planning to buy. It seemed like a good deal to take a chance. Until now I had never heard of GEVI. I've had it for two weeks now and am very happy with it. Freshly ground coffee is way better than the mug I buy from QT on the way to work. You can switch off the grinder if you already have ground coffee. All you have to do is add it directly to your shopping cart. If you are considering buying one, keep in mind that this coffee maker is larger than it appears in the picture. It fits under my cupboards with an inch gap so I have to push it forward every time I need to fill it with water. Although this is just a minor inconvenience.
