Contaminates the water: Aquarium Lights
This was the first time I tried these lights because they are a few dollars cheaper and also because my Smartpond 700GPH was listed as a compatible product. After leaving each bulb in the filter for 2 weeks at a time, I still have cloudy green water and can only see 6 inches down. While the ones I use from Lowe's are 11.49 each, they at least keep the water completely clean. In this case you get what you pay for. Use Smartpond PCUV9 bulbs instead.
