I bought this net for totally independent use. I have an above ground hot tub and even though it had a lid, the bees got into the cracks daily and drowned by the dozens. You would abandon the chemistry altogether, clog the filter and produce smelly, cloudy water. I tried everything from dryer sheets to mothballs to keep them out but they got in anyway and a dozen bees right outside the back door kept anyone from going outside! It was the perfect solution. With an elastic construction at the bottom of the mesh, it fits perfectly in my hot tub to the bottom above the lid. The bees came for several days trying to find the entrance, but since then they have completely disappeared. Now my water is clean and I couldn't be happier! Thanks very much!
