Would not recommend this blender. I sent this blender back unused. As soon as I unpacked it was clear to me that it wasn't for me. First I checked the gearbox. Plastic that breaks so easily I can't risk it. The stick itself is made of plastic. Plastic wrapping. Plastic is not the material you want when buying kitchen appliances. Anything with plastic gears will fail first, and long before you get your money's worth. Never buy anything with plastic gears. Avoid plastic parts of any kind if possible. Think of all the things that made you disappointed because of plastic parts.
