I disagree, this material is TOO THIN and loose on the base

Reading five star reviews just tells me they have never tried a better product . I can't believe anyone is actually saying this stuff is FASTER and BETTER. Are you kidding or just a fake review?!?! Just tried another brand to compare. Set the Brother ScanNCut SDX125 for half cut and automatic printing. Perfect results. Clean cuts, decent weeding, everything that was needed was left in place. Then we returned to that role. MY GOD. Test, test, test finally at FULL cutoff pressure -6 to get usable results. However, in some areas the new blade (which has just worked well on another product) lifts the edges of weeds as it cuts. The crux of the problem is that ULTRA THIN vinyl takes an inordinate amount of effort to cut through without going through the backing. Then comes the weeding. If you make any labels, you can bet they'll want to go up with the scrap as this flimsy material just won't stick to the backing. In comparison, it has a looser, tackier bond to the vinyl backing than the STRONG bond that top brands have. In the end I think this product is a waste. As a newbie to this car, I'm glad we had another brand on hand to try as my wife wanted to give up this project altogether. While this might seem like the best bang for your buck, ultimately the impact comes from your head banging frantically against the wall. Due to the demanding nature of iron-on vinyl, this material has a loose connection to the substrate and is too thin for real results, especially if you have fine detail. In this case, the lettering was problematic for both 3/8" high characters and 1 1/4" high characters. I can't comment on the iron in the gluing process as the cut was so bad we never got that far with this product. .Conclusion: Pay more for a better product if you want to enjoy making your time. I will not buy again. I do not recommend.
