I thought that it would not only help inflate water floats but also inflate balloons, it can do both but not without a lot of effort with your sides. It's not strong enough to inflate a normal balloon, so you have to launch it yourself and then fight like an idiot to put it on the air nozzle. On rafts, the nozzle didn't match the standard air loops, which have what you have to squeeze to open, so you have to make a real effort to get them at the right angle to inflate. Also, it heats up very quickly.
