New update: The wire held together by the pinch clamp just wouldn't come loose causing the perch to snap sideways and both cats falling to the ground in fright, luckily it does not hurt. The suction cups stayed in place, but this design still failed to impress. I do NOT recommend. Update: soaked in funk for hours. Still has a slight odor but with a blanket over it, not as noticeable. My two cats can sit in it at the same time (24# total) and it stayed in the window. As others have pointed out, there are no assembly instructions, but it's easy to understand. 2 stars for the cover smell. I've washed it once since yesterday but it still smells awful. My cats love all the other perches, but they won't sleep on this one, probably because it stinks. Can't comment on how well it sucks or how durable it is as cats don't stay in it.
