My fur boy weighs about 16.5 pounds. Maine Coon (we think), he's long and fleshy. I bought it to take to my annual inspection as it has outgrown its old age. . Multiple ways to open (which I appreciate) plus a top flap that can be closed and protected. He's definitely tall enough, but couldn't seem to find a comfortable way to lie down. , it bulged in the middle, and I felt more comfortable holding the device with my hand down than "just in case". That being said, I think it would work better for a lighter, smaller beast. It is rated at 22 pounds. I just couldn't imagine that it could withstand such a heavy weight. I think if your pet is a little smaller than my spatula (pictures above, with and without the wrapper) and a little lighter, it'll be a pretty good wrapper, so I'm rating it for what I think it can and does well . * I base my purchases on customer reviews and try to avoid "fake" reviews.
