My husband loved these shoes as soon as he put them on. At first he didn't want me to buy them because he thought they had limited functionality. He quickly changed his mind. Far from being a running or tennis shoe, these mesh loafers quickly became his go-to sneaker for around-town shopping, antiquing, and outings. It was very hot in Connecticut this summer and these shoes were rated A+ for comfort, breathability, coolness and light support. He especially likes them during the train ride from Connecticut to New York (he's craving slippers) and then walks through one of the museums. Now he wants a second pair just for home use. We always take our shoes off at the door and want a second pair as they are lighter, more comfortable and more stable going up and down stairs than his slippers.
