I am starting to buy and pre-order this with my own money after seeing the artist's work on Instagram. This is great for beginners who really want to learn how to get better at copics. I found it useful for coloring skin and hair, but it went one step further and taught me how to color different objects and even food. I like that they incorporate different highlighting and patterning techniques. It was even useful for people who paint digitally. I also like how the book talks about different artists. This is definitely a good buy and worth every penny. EDIT: After my initial review, I wanted to add that there are some steps in this book that require some colors that are NOT in the COPIC CIAO line. The look will be in the Copic Sketch line. You will also need a white gel pen or white Copic ink. I would have liked the consumables from Copic to be a bit more beginner-friendly, but I still don't deduct a star for that. It also has a few steps that jump around (like coloring the sapphire) and you have to look ahead to remember how to place the color. Don't be discouraged by this rating addon as it will help you sort color combinations and what not.
