My eye doctor recommended using a wet compress twice a day, and after wringing out a wet washcloth, I went looking for an alternative. This mask is great. For me, I leave the liner in the lid when I cook in the microwave because it took too long to put the liner back in afterwards. The recommended 20 seconds (1000 W microwave with turntable) on kitchen paper with lid foil is perfect for me. Even if I didn't have any problems with dry eyes, this would be a very relaxing pastime!
