These little eye warmers are really good. They appear to have balls rather than flaxseeds which eventually settle and shrink until they are much less "full". They provide moist warmth, which is ideal, and they have a removable, washable cover, which is a great idea too. The cover can be easily removed. My eye doctor recommended using a wet compress twice a day, and after wringing out a wet washcloth, I went looking for an alternative. This mask is great. For me, I leave the liner in the lid when I cook in the microwave because it took too long to put the liner back in afterwards. The recommended 20 seconds (1000 W microwave with turntable) on kitchen paper with lid foil is perfect for me. Even if I didn't have any problems with dry eyes, this would be a very relaxing pastime!

This is by far the easiest, most effective and most comfortable way to apply moist heat to the eyes. I've tried warm washcloths, tea bags, baking soda compresses, and combinations of the above. Simple and easy to use for people with chronic blepharitis. I use this for five minutes daily to prevent clogging of the sebum gland in the eyelash follicle. It also helped reduce dark circles. I have these and some brother eye masks. As with all eye warming masks, you cannot use the microwave for more than 30 seconds, otherwise the mask may crack.
