Review on 🔥 Enhanced OTC 6589 Spark Tester with Electronic Ignition by Mark Young

I have tested this product on 2 good working cars and it has not produced any sparks at all. I'm not a professional mechanic, but I've worked with various ignition systems for decades and have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing. I also note that the image on the website is completely misleading if not outright false advertising. The image shows a clip labeled "Mueller Clip" and a test specimen made of steel labeled "Made in USA". You will receive a package named OTC, and it says "Made in Taiwan" on the back of the package. There is no stamping or case theft on the clip. The only marking on the product is HEI on the insulator. Also, the metal of the block looks like the cheap stuff you'd expect from an import. In hindsight I would advise against buying this device in the first place as there is another similar device being sold by Amazon for about 3/4 the price. Also a competitor (Performance Tool W86553 Ignition Tester) presents the tool as what I got from OTC, but without the theft stamp, which doesn't exist.
