More and more mobile and other electronic devices these days don't come with power adapters for USB charging - they may include a charging cable, but you'll need to provide an adapter power adapter or charge the device by connecting it to a computer. Even if you have your own charging adapters, your charging area and power strip will become cluttered, tangled with power adapters and cords when trying to charge multiple devices. The Tripp Lite 10-Port USB Charging Hub solves these problems by providing 10 USB charging ports in one compact package. In the box you will find a charging hub, 3 inch power cable, hub stand and manuals. The charger delivers power up to 5V, 2.1A per port to charge your mobile devices such as iPads, tablets, phones and cameras. Note that the 10 USB ports are USB-A ports, so you can't use USB-C cables without an adapter. There are also rubber feet attached to one side of the device in case you don't want to use the stand. The device provides protection against overheating, overcurrent and overcharging (stops charging when the device's battery is fully charged). There is a dedicated power button on the back of the device and a blue LED will illuminate when the device is powered on. There is also a fan that turns on when the device is turned on. The device is equipped with a dual voltage power supply (100-240 V). In use, the device performs as listed - I was able to charge my iPad, iPhone, iWatch, camera gimbal, headphones, two GoPro cameras, two Bluetooth speakers, and a small rechargeable guitar amp. Unfortunately, I originally considered leaving the charger in my office, but when the unit is on the fan makes an audible fan noise - the noise is too loud to keep on a desk. So the device would be ideal if it were quieter and had two USB-C ports and USB-A ports.
