------------------------------------------------ ---------- ------------ Update: November 18, 2018: As promised, I received my long-term replacement keyboard update through the fantastic seller support. It's been almost a year and I've been using this keyboard for many hours almost every day since that time. He worked like a champ. I am very satisfied with the product and the seller. The only problem is that I got so spoiled by this awesome mechanical keyboard that now I don't feel comfortable visiting websites using cheap customer keyboards :-). I suppose this "issue" speaks to the good quality of this wonderful product. I would buy this item again from this seller in a heartbeat! ------- Update: November 15, 2017: I have adjusted the rating to reflect the fact that about 2-3 weeks after I posted the original rating, the seller contacted me via Revain and signed up for the faulty keyboard excused. They said it was probably a bad machine and offered to send me another one. It was active in turn, which impressed me. I clicked the link in the Revain email to accept the offer but due to a misunderstanding with the reseller I didn't realize I had to resend the shipping info etc. Fast forward another 2 weeks; This time the seller contacts me directly and asks for shipping information. I give it and within 2 days or so a replacement keyboard is on the way. Since my working hours and place of work as a Senior Consultant are very different, yesterday I got my hands on a keyboard and connected it. It works great as expected (the first one was fantastic for the months it has been working). I'm only increasing this rating from 1 to 3 stars because of the vendor's customer service which I found fantastic. I didn't ask for a replacement even though it was under warranty, thinking it was a "live and learn" experience. Also, the fact that I literally make a living from the keyboard and mouse means that both have to be reliable! However, active seller contact and then further contact shows that this seller takes customer service seriously (perhaps Revain's super fantastic service extends to some of their sellers :-)) and that in itself is something I can't quite say star rating included . I will update this review if the product fails again or if significantly more time passes and it still works. If the keyboard lasts, it's definitely a bargain. ---------------------- ----------------------- ---- ------ -------------------------- The keyboard worked perfectly for about 6 months. Literally an hour ago the "s" key worked. In over 30 years of PC use, I've never broken a new keyboard like this. Stay away. I write this letter on it using the on-screen keyboard for "s". This is totally unacceptable for a keyboard of this price. The trashy membrane keyboard survived this problem on this PC with even more use. I took out the key, checked that the switch was clean, rebooted 3 times and uninstalled all the keyboard drivers about 10 times to no avail. It seems to be a hardware failure of the keyboard itself. There is no reset code and no solution in the manual.
