Review on Apevia Aura-P-BK Mid Tower Gaming Case: Full-Size Tempered Glass Panels, RGB Fans, Black Frame by Brian Stepp

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent case for the money but some problems

Decent case for the money, comes with 4 fans, unfortunately you can't connect more fans to the included controller, so now I have 2 separate controllers for fans, and of course you can't sync them. And for some very weird reason the cable routing cutouts behind the motherboard don't match up with the connectors on the motherboard, specifically the biggest 24 pin cable is 90 degrees from the big connector so you have to twist that big fat cable around the cable, to go through the notch that will definitely stick out. In addition, the glass side cover does not stick to the body, so air can penetrate everywhere. only touches the body in 1 spot on each of the 4 sides. Only 1 of the SATA ports on the bottom can be used as the cutout is in the wrong place and no cable can be inserted. In my case it's not a big deal since I'm using 2m.2 drives and still have 5 extra SATA connectors to use, but it's still flashy and poorly designed when it comes to cabling.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Almost everything included
