Review on 🎨 Jacquard Professional Screen Print Ink: Water-Soluble Super Opaque White (119) - 16oz Jar by Tara Ford

I have just started screen printing and after much research I decided on this ink to use for my design on a dark gray shirt. First, this material is THICK. So thick I thought maybe it was drying out. But I went further and continued to apply it to my screen. At first I didn't add enough ink to my screen because when I started flooding the screen there were a lot of blank streaks. So I added more and finally got a full flood. Then it's time to push the ink through. Since it was my first time typing, I made each step the first time. I really wanted a "push" -Use method to print, but could not. t Push the ink through the mesh screen (230 mesh). Absolutely nothing happened. So before I got too overwhelmed, I tried the "pull" method and was able to get more leverage to push the ink across the screen. It worked great! I really have no complaints about this product. This is my first time using a product and if I can make it work, anyone can. People who run into problems are either not working fast enough, are pressing hard enough to push the ink through, or aren't applying an offset to their screen. So the bottom line is, if you're persistent, maybe muster up some upper body strength and keep working at it, it'll get the job done pretty effectively. This review gets 4 stars because I had to work really hard to get him to do what I needed to do. I could end up going back and giving that 5 star review but right now I just don't know what I don't know. I should try other opaque white inks to see how they compare.
