I like this idea as it will work again once power is restored and the water level rises again. I used to have multiple hanging filters; They stop working when I change the water, the water level gets too low to suck up water. That way I never have to turn off the filter when trying to clean the aquarium, right? The idea is great, but after 2 weeks the engine simply stopped working because media was being sucked into the engine compartment. Luckily it's still within the return window. I will not buy again.
