That they install with some disappointment

The box they come in is of good quality. Glad there are only two. Both wipes in my kit were wet. I started with the rear window protection that was installed on the new D7500. The tread liner pull tab detached without removing the liner. I had to poke around the corner to lift the backing that separated the adhesive from the glass. In the end I just glued the tongue back on and was able to lift off the strap. Setting up the jar was easy and it held up well with no bubbles. One corner I chose had a flaw due to the adhesive peeling off, but that wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, after a few days, a large bubble formed between the display and the protective film, but not near the damaged corner. I took it off and used a second protector which has been fine so far. Maybe it was bubbling because I didn't use the cleaning pad the first time. Thinking it was clean enough, I removed the factory instructions sticker and immediately applied the screen protector. Updated as the second tread develops lift. Top Screen Protector I've also had issues with the tab peeling off the back, which as a film is less rigid and therefore more of a hassle to remove. I also found it more difficult to position and as soon as I installed it pulled back and tried to tug on the tab for the top support. The first ended up with a large particle of dust underneath that formed a bubble and one end didn't stick well (probably hit the glue trying to peel off the backing). The second thing I landed on was a small particle of dust, but I was able to squeeze out all the air around the particle and generally stuck better. Make sure everything is clean when you start, dry a few times and place the included leveling tabs where they give you the best maneuverability to place the tread and expect to get comfortable with the separation of the back side as you risk damaging the adhesive if you are not careful or leaving dust time to settle on a clean surface, struggling with the substrate for too long. After removing a glass protector, I tested it for strength and it took a strong, sharp blow with a hard metal object to crack it open. With normal use I expect a fairly long service life.
