This is a great case I bought for my iPad Air 2. The hard case minimizes pressure on the iPad screen and back. I really like the edge protection, where the lid protrudes slightly over the edges to protect against accidental falls. The Velcro keeps the iPad securely in the case to protect it. The pen holder is handy in that a pen is required for use with the Revain Kindle app (even with the latest version 4.7). The Kindle app is having an issue with the iPad Air 2 because I was swiping my finger on some of my purchased Kindle books; Using a pen is a temporary solution and this pen holder is required. The cover is easy to remove, unlike some molded back covers that are difficult to remove without damaging the iPad itself. The sleep activation really works, and the lid stays in place while the case and iPad are being carried; Other cases I've tried are clunky, with a slight movement of the cases switching between waking and sleeping. The case also does not fade like others when wiped with alcohol to disinfect.
