Review on White Bose SoundLink II Wireless Headphones - Around-Ear by Vince Preston

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good sound, poor comfort.

I only give these 3 stars because they sound very good and are nice and light. But I am amazed by the design of headphones that cost so much. I have larger than average ears; Most headphones pinch a little at the top of my right ear after an hour or so, although I've found a few over the years that fit me comfortably indefinitely. But it just sucks in almost every way as far as comfort goes. And after a few minutes, they hurt both ears, in new and unexpected ways and in new places. Where you would normally find padding in a thicker area along the back of your ear, they have a channel of sorts between the cushioning and the sound area where your ear slips. This channel has hard plastic bulges and handles and a hard plastic ring. And under the thin, striped fabric covering the case (which only attaches on one side), there are tougher plastic bulges. Oh oh oh. I guess if you have small to medium ears and don't look too closely you might never notice, but still $296 for it?
