connected to a smart TV. All have Ethernet ports. Since my apartment is connected to the local area network, I decided to take advantage of this and avoid dozens of neighbors competing with wireless networks, which will put an end to my buffering problems. The thick blue Cat5e cables of varying lengths that I originally used also became unruly and could no longer be hidden. I chose these cables (3ft and 5ft) because they are flat, thinking they would be easier to manage. And I was right. The only thing I got wrong was the required length. I have a large electronics store 5 minutes walk. This is where I bought these clumsy, naughty blue cables.
