I've been using them for hanging up labels or working in the hallway for a few weeks. Once you get into the groove, they're pretty easy to use. I've found that by first pressing one side against the paper and then pulling the strip back, it retains the shape of a circle fairly well in most cases, although I don't think there's a way to completely prevent it from doing so to curl into a ball. As for adhesion. , almost all of my labels are still in place (laminate on wood) but my hallway artwork (paper on a better-than-paper corkboard) has seen a few drops. Sometimes I walk in in the morning and see one or two lying on the floor. However, the dots still hold their stick and reattaching them isn't much of a problem. In terms of adhesion, it's no better or worse than regular old tape. As for distance, it's both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, they can be removed without a trace (thank God). On the other hand, you have to be careful that you're pulling on the dot itself and not on the paper, or you might tear off the corner. However, once you take it off, you can easily roll it into a ball and it will come off immediately. (If you're a teacher, ask the kids to do this because trying to get them off the paper first and then off your fingers can get tiring. That way they have all the fun!) Either way, it are still miles. better than using a tape dispenser to roll up tape to stick to the wall, using expensive tape, or going through the horrible task of removing staples when it's time to take everything off, so it always is IMO another winner.
