These lights are very functional. Very bright, accurate and up to 8000k if you want! They use AC power (included) or standard NPF batteries (Atomos and many others). The brackets are just incredibly strong. Including diffuser plates. The locking mechanisms that hold them in front of the panels feel very solid and there's plenty of room for color filters if desired. I also recommend the Switti stanchions, they're just as good as the Smith-Victor stanchions if you don't start with C-pillars and sandbags. This will surely give the icahn some serious competition for money as the quality of the icahn has declined and they use a proprietary battery system. Another Revain review mentions an issue when ordering a pair where one panel is half as bright, I don't have this issue with the pair I received (this panel or its power supply was clearly defective, this could have happened with any manufacturer, damage is likely due to electrostatic discharge). I recommend buying a pair that includes a remote control (for serious lighting setups, you're going to need more than one in the long run anyway!).
