Not hard and not bulky.
Ordered for my mother. She needs a warm coat that doesn't make her look like Randy from A Christmas Carol. Fits as expected. It's soft and warm, but not stiff or bulky. She says it's perfect! High quality is expected of Columbia products and this has not disappointed us. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 220 cm. Her coat is too big, but she prefers that.
