I need casual shoes that I can easily put on if I'm late. They're great for that. These are very comfortable shoes for walking (though not on snow - they have no grip on ice or snow). A boot that connects the tongue to the boot does not hold its shape well and stretches easily. After wearing this shoe for about two weeks, I noticed that my foot was slipping out of the right boot and the right boot felt quite loose. I thought it had to do with how my right foot rests when driving - I have a habit of using the right edge of my right foot to step on the gas when I place my heel midway between the brake and gas . In this position, my right leg presses on the elastic. I don't know if this is really a design flaw for other people to worry about, but if you put your feet in weird positions that stretch the elastic, you might have a problem with the shoe slipping off.
