My Daughter- The Potter - Loves This

My daughter is quite an accomplished potter in a relatively short time that she has worked with clay. She saw this and went nuts over it begging me to get it. She saved up and bought one of the most expensive wheels out there so she is serious about what she is doing with pottery.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in parts. You have to assemble it to use it. It does come apart again if you need to store it away.PERFORMANCEI am not the potter like my daughter is, but she said that this is very useful for her when she is making pots. It helps her gauge the size of the pot as she makes it on her wheel. She said that it is convenient when you need to swing it out of the way too. She has not mounted it yet, but plans to put it on a more permanent base than she has at the moment.THE BOTTOM LINEMy daughter who is a potter likes this very much. She said it is easy to use and finds it very helpful in sizing her pottery as she makes it.MY RATINGFIVE STARS is what she told me to put for now. If anything changes, she will have me update this for more information. Right now she is elated to have this. I can not get a photo of her using this yet but will update when I can.

Pros
  • ⚱️ Adjustable Height: 320mm tall Pottery Throwing Gauge, the angle, height and reach length of the throwing arms can be adjusted freely to the position you need, allowing you to throw to a precise position! It's perfect for reproducing the same height and width for your wheel thrown pots.
Cons
  • Some users may find the gauge tool to be too bulky or heavy, making it difficult to maneuver while working on intricate pottery designs

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it. The screws the go in the bottom won’t go all the way in. I tried doing it by hand and with a screw driver. Because the screws won’t go all the way in, it won’t sit flat on the table and wobbles back and forth.
