I bought this trimmer because I thought it was the nicest trimmer on the market and would look best on my dresser. The trimmer works exactly as advertised - a good, tight trim (including stubble if desired is what I aim for) and it has never pulled my face down like every other trimmer I've tried. I didn't really bother with accessories, but the device is beautiful, has a lot of weight and looks like a champ. It worked great both dry and in the shower. Until it stops! This is where the story gets weird. A day after returning from a trip (presumably due to mishandling of luggage) the trimmer stayed on when unplugged. Plugged into the wall - off, not plugged into the power cord - on. I called Val not expecting much (my thing isn't working and I have no proof) and they took care of me like a pro. They immediately gave me a new trimmer (all accessories included) and said if I returned the broken one they would fix it for free and send it back to me with a replacement trimmer. What customer service. Between tool and service I will never buy another brand of trimmer again. I just wish there was some way to give these guys more than 5 stars.
