PROS: Clamps fit flat hangers about 1/2 inch wide. The clips supported the weight of cotton shorts, skirts and t-shirts. However, if I had been aware of the many issues I had with these clips, I would have gone with the more expensive and better quality finger clips. -------------------- ------- CONS: (1) MOVES FREELY ON HANGER: Clips do not stay in place after being attached to Hangers were attached. Instead, the clamps are free to move along the suspension bar. Because of this, it is difficult to hang clothes straight and wrinkle. (2) DIFFICULT TO OPEN: Clamps have very tight connections. This made it very difficult to open the clips to allow clothing to be placed between them. I found it particularly difficult to fit the drawstring shorts between the clips due to the extra size due to the waste elastic. (3) CHEAP APPEARANCE: The clips shown in the product photo show a matte and light gray clip. The clips I received looked shiny and dark gray. Overall I would not recommend these clips due to their free movement on the hanging bar and the difficulty in opening the clip.
