Not suitable for all microwave ovens. I bought a new 1100W Hamilton Beach for $70 from Walmart. I couldn't melt anything after 25 minutes, I gave up. I ended up in a FB group just because I melted in the microwave. I've found that some brands don't work because some modern ones have a smart wave detection system that drastically reduces performance when strange materials are detected inside. Brands don't work that well - Samsung, Deawoo and Sharp, Emerson doesn't. It was all in the wrong group. So I found a cheap old one around town at CL, works great!
