I used this to connect the Firestick and a digital antenna behind a hanging TV. There were only two outlets, but these two items and the TV needed to be plugged in. I checked the dimensions and found that it would fit nicely in the small space behind the TV. However, if you have a very tight space, be sure to consider the length of the pins (about 1 inch). Because the prongs increased the overall size of this charging port, I had to take the TV off the wall to plug it in. Can't speak to the phone's charging capability, but it can fully power several other devices.
