Gloves are designed for summer riding, not to keep you warm. I gave 2 stars for "warmth" and are usually worn in temperatures above 65 degrees. Otherwise they are very comfortable and have safety features not common in gloves at this price point. All joints have hard protection, the side of the thumb has soft protection. There is a hard plastic pad just below the palm, on the outside of the wrist. The purpose of the last one is that if you fall, you will instinctively stretch your arms out in front of you to protect your head/body. it doesn't stick to the pavement, letting your hand slip off, preventing injury from sprains. The ventilation works as well as any other summer glove I've tried. The touchscreen sensitivity isn't the highest, but I don't check my phone when I'm driving anyway. size and fit. I have a 9" palm and a 3.5" middle finger. The size of the palm and finger suits me, I bought a large one. They don't go very high on the wrist. These are my new favorite summer riding gloves and I am buying another pair.
