Honestly, make sure you measure the shelf you're going to do this on. Seriously, don't sweat it. We ended up putting it on the top shelf in the pantry and it fit perfectly. I love that I can peek at how many jars of beans/squash/etc. I have on hand. We debate getting another one, but we don't eat that much canned food.
