I have to say that I really like the yellow color of these light bulbs. I've had other species, also yellow, but they're so light yellow, bright, that the beetles swarm anyway. They don't attract bugs so I consider this a true bug bulb. Lightbulbs are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially yellow lightbulbs. I love the fact that I can dim this bulb to any wattage I want. Full brightness is very convenient when you are outdoors. Just remember to use these bulbs in a rainproof fixture. I even used them to light up my patio all winter without any problems.
