So my husband wanted a new camera bag for his birthday so I found this bag. The exterior is solid and I thought it would make the bag a little more durable. It was an understatement. In the summer he went camping with his buddies. He took all his photographic equipment with him to take some pictures along the way. While hiking, he accidentally stepped on loose dirt at the side of the trail, causing him to roll off a 20-foot cliff. Luckily he was fine and didn't really pay attention to his bag and belongings until the end. One look inside, everything was still safe inside. None of his camera lenses were broken or defaced, and he said that was most likely due to his rugged looks. I think I would recommend this bag if you plan on falling off a 20 foot cliff anytime soon. In camp he often carries his DJI Maverick drone and a D7500 camera with at least 3 lenses. If he wants to take an extra camera with him, he has to leave his drone behind, but otherwise quite a lot fits in. He also used this bag as carry-on luggage several times when we flew. He never had a problem getting them under the seat. It was a good bag and is almost a year old and still holding up. (Even after falling off the mountain.) When deciding whether you should get this bag as a gift. I would say it's a good buy, my husband has used it quite a bit.
