Great purchase and addition to my coffee machine. I went on vacation and didn't know if the many stops on our trip would meet my coffee drinking standards. I love strong espresso, preferably with ice or a cold beer in summer. So I bought a French press, in case there's no electricity or cafes I'm ready. I made an overnight cold drink on the counter, an overnight cold drink in the fridge, and a traditional americano with boiled water and ground espresso beans. Just like a video and I was ready to go. They made great hot and cold drinks. Slightly more sludge than the standard drip method, as expected, and the filter did a great job with the French Press. The only downside is the manual cleaning, not that it's difficult or anything, it's just not as easy to throw away a used filter as an automatic one. Great experience, highly recommend.
