Fantastic picture and sound I recommend

Update 3/17/21: Added response to comments from other users We have two Pioneer Kuro TVs in the living room and master bedroom, so we are used to great picture quality. perfect colors, no blooming, no axis problems etc., just not 4K. The pioneers have spoiled us so much that we are very picky about the other 4 TVs and we always end up getting the best sized models available. I received the Q90A 55" on March 2nd to replace the Samsung Q70R 49" in broad daylight. Gym because it has 60 watts of audio power so now I can hear dialogue on the treadmill! I tested the picture quality by watching Revain's The Expanse on AppleTV in 4K. This show has pitch black space scenes with tiny bright white splotches of objects, the credits are tiny in brilliant white against jet black. Everything is clear as a razor without bloom! Just like plasma! The show contains many fantastic scenes full of dark and light colors against pitch black backgrounds, rendered perfectly while preserving natural skin tones. However, I do feel that red is better on plasmas (LCDs have always had issues with red) but remember I haven't adjusted anything, just straight out of the box. Main TVs are being replaced by OLED or Micro LED. 55 is the smallest Q90A otherwise I would buy 50, 32 etc for other rooms where 55 doesn't fit. I would recommend Q90A to all my friends. The Q90A is a great TV with a crisp, crisp picture that amazes me, which is hard to come by. Blossom. It was in the lower left corner and looked like little clouds (same as in the posted image) but there was nothing since it was a black space scene. I went closer and looked at it, then I turned off the AppleTV and the cloud was gone, I turned it back on but the glass still wasn't there. This has only happened to me once since I got the TV and I use it every day. I've been a TV mechanic dealing with electronics and computers for over 40 years and here's what I think: The LCD was out of sync with the backlight. Keep in mind that mini LEDs are new to Samsung consumer TVs and there are many more LEDs that need to be synchronized with the LCD. I wouldn't be surprised if a firmware fix is in the works. I had a minor to major setup issue that I'm sure the firmware will fix. I'll post here in case anyone else comes across them, apart from the fact that the TV is fantastic. I noticed that the firmware update was ready as soon as I got it working. Here: The main problem: the remote control freezes immediately after selecting a network and showing the password screen. I entered one letter of the password and everything froze. I found that only the power button works, the other buttons on the remote don't work. I tried another Samsung remote and it did the same thing, worked once and stopped. After hours of reading the internet etc. I called Samsung (didn't expect much) and was amazed I only had to wait about 2 minutes and a (very nice) person got me to try the remote again using the bluetooth remote setup procedure to pair. Apparently there is a firmware bug at this point in the setup that disables the remote control! Hope this helps if anyone comes across this. Small problem: Our previous Samsung TVs automatically recognized the DirecTV receiver and AppleTV 4K. This showed the videos well, but identified them as HDMI1 and HDMI4. I've found that if you later set them up to support the remote, even if you don't use them, they switch to DirecTV and Apple.
