Accessory adapter cable is defective

I love this product but when I connect part of the accessory adapter cable to my Audi q5 SUV I can only hear music from the right side of my speakers. I then played an audio CD in my car and it played or I could hear the music all over my SUV, right and left and front and back. Can I exchange it for a fully working one that allows you to listen to music flawlessly?
