Review on Uxcell Polyolefin Insulation Shrink Tubing Industrial Electrical by Raul Fabijan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

For repairing tree climbing chains.

I used this to recreate a wooden climbing stand that uses chains to attach it to a tree. It worked flawlessly and my old cracked plastic tube was a thing of the past. The manufacturer charged a high price for replacement chains and all I needed was new cases for mine. This shrink tubing fit my bill and saved me some money. I've used the chains for two seasons and the tube has held up very well. I'm pretty sure that shrink tubing wasn't meant for that, but it worked. I was able to complete this project in my garage using a small torch that I have used for other heat shrink tubing on electrical items. I would recommend this to a friend trying to fix their tree stand, not sure if this is the intended application but it works.
