If you're looking for a headset that lets you make calls from home, then this is for you. I would say it performs about the same as a MUCH more expensive headset. The software I use to make calls is a big problem. Additionally, this shotgun mic is GREAT for low noise environments. I bought the PS and XBox versions and I think the Xbox version only has acoustic echo cancellation. Regardless, I've bought and returned a million other Chinese-made headsets with all those cute LEDs, but this is by far the best. High performance headset for the money. If you're just gaming and prioritize reliability and performance, then this is the headset for you. This product is probably the best value headset on the market right now. I could be wrong, but it's DEFINITELY there. Also get lvl 50. The LVL40 is the cheaper type and I'm sure the LVL30 is great, but with noise cancellation the LVL50 would be comparable to a $150 gaming headset. This thing doesn't have fancy lights and such, but gosh, as my witness, it's fantastic for the performance.
