I have a 13" 2020 M1 MacBook Pro that has a hidden native "feature" that it doesn't support more than one display (beware of Gen 1 products). This dock, when combined with the DisplayLink Manager, offers multi-display support, but know that it will NOT work in clamshell mode (which is a compelling use case for getting a workstation up and running). Desktop, that's still not an option, I suspect the only option is to move the Apple Silicon MacBook 2nd Gen. Google some displays for the MacBook M1 and you'll see vague workarounds, but no mention of the clamshell limitation as long as you add "clamshell" to your search criteria. Unfortunately I had to return the product. However, it is a GREAT product - it's just that Apple was too eager to products based on the M1 while being very annoying and the restrictive 'feature' swept under the rug.
