I have an HTC DAS strap and I transferred it from my Quest One to my Quest 2. I bought these to use in case I buy an elite battery strap in the future. In the meantime I have attached it to my Quest 1, which worked well. The sound is like a DAS strap with decent bass, but you'll have to adjust them to your ears and push them down to get the full range. This is not an index style, they are still designed to make contact with your ears. The design looks good and the cables are perfect for discreet viewing. I also like the fact that the cord is braided and not the cheap plug cords from the input jack that other kits have. They look and fit much cleaner than any other kit I've seen. However, there are three things that can make them great: 1. They're made out of cheaper plastic, which makes them feel very brittle and squeaky.2. Headphone movement is very stiff and limited. In comparison, the DAS articulates very softly and fits my ear with ease.3. Headphones are not soft enough. You can easily feel the hard plastic when you press them against your ears. All in all, if you just need strap-on earbuds, these might be fine. I hope there will be a second version with smoother articulation, better plastics and more cushioning in the future. White would also be a great option. The price also seems excessive at $10, but with these upgrades, the future version is well worth it. I will say that there are not many options and AMVR has good accessories for searching.
