Dunno what's wrong with the other reviews but I installed mine with no problems. I'm so happy with my setup (camera S1 of course) that I bought 2 more cameras and cable sets for my other cars. The connector in this kit is rotated 90 degrees and is slightly shorter than the rear camera connector. If you use a straight cord it will definitely get in the way and you will strain the cord or the outlet or both. Be sure to buy this kit if you have an S1 camera as it will work as intended.
