This controller obviously doesn't look like a Gamecube controller, but it helps in games like Wind Waker or Twilight Princess where Nintendo wanted B to be the sword button and the B button on Pro Controller /Game was Pad in a place that doesn't look like a sword. This controller doesn't have a particularly comfortable grip, and sometimes the controller moves down with the analog stick when I'm not moving it down. Of course, this has only happened to me 3 times in the 8 or 9 months I've been using it. Overall, it's a pleasure to use this controller for certain games. Virtual console games should be fine if you use the buttons correctly. This is a cheap controller with a low price. I expect this will only last a year or two with moderate play. Also, don't buy it for Smash. Just don't lol. Better buy an adapter for the GameCube and break the gamepad.
