I don't hate the Jabra Evolve 40. I don't really like it either. The only reason I still use all of this is for some variety. The main problem is that it's too small for my big head. It could only be used after I broke it, like a baseball glove or something. I wrapped it around a large box to stretch overnight. Now it is placed on my head and removed again by itself. Now I accept and acknowledge that I have a big head. It's not obscene, though, and I'm not a mutant with some sort of disproportionate giant bowler hat. My Bose QC 35 II sits perfectly on my head. Jabra just couldn't make this thing big enough for people with big heads. The strap is too curved and the earcups don't reach far enough to be long enough to reach your ears comfortably. Another shortcoming is the red LED on the microphone mute button. When I join a large-scale conference, I join muted. Although the headset definitely thinks it isn't. So when I join a meeting with this thing, the first thing I do is tap the mute button to sync it with the actual Zoom mute. After that everything works fine. In general, the sound quality is normal to my ears. Other people say I sound good, but I haven't recorded or listened to anything. The headphones actually have amazing sound isolation. It's not exactly soundproof by definition, but it's still amazing.
