My son loves this watch. We looked and looked and finally settled on this Timex Expedition Mid-Size - it was a perfect fit for our 10 year old son. We went through a few iterations of the "kids" watches and they just didn't last long. This watch has endured swimming, basketball, baseball, and more without a single scratch. This beautiful watch is not too big for my son or wife who sometimes takes it with her. A "grown-up" watch, unlike the kids' watches we've tried in the past - Easy to read thanks to the illuminated dial for comfort at night - Intuitive settings - My son can set and change his own alarm and time zone - The strap is durable and soft - very comfortable, with a Velcro strap that's easy to put on and take off and adjust. Very happy with the purchase and my son appreciates the adult features and design in a 'kid sized' watch.
